About Michaela
Michaela brings a depth of experience and commercial insight to Enterprise Legal, shaped by her extensive in-house career across Australia’s mining, construction, and manufacturing industries. Her time working within these sectors has honed her ability to deliver legal advice that is not only technically sound but also commercially astute and strategically valuable.
Raised on a citrus farm in Mundubbera, Queensland, Michaela learned early the importance of hard work, innovation, and integrity, values that continue to underpin her approach to legal practice.
A graduate of the University of Queensland with a dual Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in International Relations and Chinese), Michaela is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management and is an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
Recognised in The Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Rising Stars – Australia 2022, Michaela has advised on high-value transactions, overseen compliance and governance for large-scale infrastructure projects, and developed strategies to mitigate commercial disputes, always with a focus on excellence and accountability.
Outside the office, Michaela serves as Secretary of the not-for-profit Mothercraft Childcare Centre in Toowoomba. When she’s not chasing after her two young children, she enjoys bushwalking, camping, and cycling.
